Since its establishment in 2008, the RIR organization based in Florida has been actively involved in promoting recovery through various means. Their main focus revolves around providing addiction recovery news, conducting interviews, organizing meet and greet events, as well as hosting concerts and festivals within the clean and sober community.

Throughout the years, RIR has amassed a significant following, reaching hundreds of thousands of supporters. With a total of 34 music productions, including concerts, music festivals, and community meet and greet sessions, RIR has consistently worked towards assisting families in search of recovery information for their loved ones, as well as individuals struggling with substance use disorders.

Unlike the common trend within rock music, which often revolves around topics such as sex, drugs, and associated aspects of that lifestyle, RIR is devoted to promoting personal recovery and sobriety. I had the opportunity to have a conversation with John Hollis, where we discussed the inspiring mission of Rockers In Recovery, their efforts in spreading the recovery message, and the exciting upcoming events they have planned.

These events attract a diverse crowd, who not only come for the music but also for the arts and crafts exhibitors, merchandise, food vendors, addiction education speakers, and the chance to learn more about evidence-based treatment options and obtain veteran information. The presence of professionals at each event ensures that attendees can have their questions about substance abuse, its symptoms, different types of treatment, and recovery answered.

We eagerly anticipate the year 2024, where we can reunite with old friends and make new ones within a comfortable and supportive environment. Remember, everyone is welcome to join us on this journey of recovery.
